service company. Within an eighteen month period, secured and serviced

Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Houston Oilers, Houston Astros and Haggar

Initially general manager of Houston, TX facility, generating $6.5
million in annual revenue. Promoted as a result of exceptional performance
in Houston to general manager of the Louisville, KY facility with
responsibility for overseeing all aspects of a $12.6 million dollar
outdoor advertising operation. Responsibilities included sales direction,
marketing strategy, operations, lease and risk management and final profit
margin. Key accounts included Humana and Jewish Hospitals, Churchill
Downs, Brown-Forman Media, Outdoor Services (Dallas), Young and Rubicam

Responsible for all sales, marketing and promotion activity for Schutt
Manufacturing and Athletic Helmet of Knoxville, Tennessee. Domestic
responsibilities included research and development, direction of five head
sales agents, 47 sales associates and a national promotion staff.
International responsibilities included sales and market distribution in
Europe, Mexico and the Far East.
- Exceeded $11 million budget by $3.5 million in first full fiscal
year. Created marketing format and promotional activities for the 1987 and
1988 Japan and Super Bowls. Inducted as an active member into the 1988
sporting goods "Future Hall of Famers Club.
Regional Sales Manager (Southwest), Lem Finley Sales, Inc., Santa Ana,
Represented eight diverse sporting goods lines in California, Nevada,
Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. Key accounts included Foot
Locker, Oshmans, Big 5, Chick’s Sporting Goods, Sports Chalet,
Robinson-May, Gart Bros., Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland
Raiders, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Broncos, and the Phoenix Suns.
- Increased Southwest region from $1.2 million to $4.1 million in a 24
- Exceeded the "$3 Million Club" in eleven of thirteen years
and broke all records for percentage of sales increase for Bike
Athletic in 1986. (The record still stands.)
- Named Salesman of the Year for various companies in 1976, 1978,
1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987.
- Attained sales achievement awards which included trips to Ireland,
Spain, Hawaii, Japan, Italy and Mexico.
