Iowa schools have many things to be proud of.  According to the National Education Association (NEA):

  • Iowa students have the 6th highest average AP scores in the nation.

  • Iowa is one of the top 6 states in the percentage of high school students taking upper level science courses.

  • Iowa is one of the top 4 states in the percentage of high school graduates going on to college.

  • Ninety-five percent of the public schools in Iowa have Internet access.

  • Eighty-two percent of Iowa public school teachers have full certification and a major in their field, ranking Iowa as 5th in the nation in teacher qualification.

Over 100 Iowa schools have chosen to add one more thing to this list to be proud of:

  • Iowa schools have joined the national Turn on the Safe Driving program to educate their students about safe driving and the dangers of drinking and driving.

Following is a list of current Iowa schools who have chosen to participate in our free safe-driving program.  Turn on to Safe Driving Iowa has provided safe-driving academic planner/handbooks for every student in these schools.  The cost of the program is funded completely by our sponsors and has been provided to the schools at no cost.  To add your school to this list and receive the free safe-driving planners, please call us at ______________ or email us at _____________.
